The timing of the funds arriving to the beneficiary's bank account depends on many variables related to the transaction, such as:
- The country the funds were sent to;
- The chosen payment method;
- The chosen currency;
- The beneficiary’s bank, and many others.
When you initiate a transfer with OPAL, you can typically expect your transfer to arrive into your beneficiary's bank account within 2 to 3 business days, regardless of the transfer method selected.
The above calculation is based on the assumption that there are no delays with our banking partners or intermediary banks involved in the transfer, and that all the beneficiary's banking information entered is correct.
If we are able to offer a local payout method to the country of your beneficiary's bank account, then it is generally safe to assume that this option will be quicker than the SWIFT option. On some occasions, our local payout methods are able to settle on the same day.
When making a transfer, please ensure that all beneficiary details are provided accurately. If the information provided is not accurate and is deemed a failed transaction, any fees incurred will be borne by the sender.
