When you create a transfer with OPAL, you can be rest assured that there are no hidden fees from OPAL’s end. OPAL provides market beating, competitive FX rates as well as transaction fees.
OPAL is making a profit by charging a markup on top of the midmarket conversion rates. Therefore before you approve a payment, the total fee will be presented to you beforehand, allowing you to compare with other competitors and to know how much you are being charged.
When using the OPAL platform to make an outbound transaction, the platform will provide you with the total cost (if any) of the transfer before you approve it. The final amount that is presented on the platform is what you will pay.
There are several types of payment methods that automatically incur a small fee from our banking partners such as:
- SWIFT transfer, for any currency;
- US Domestic Automated Clearing House (ACH);
- FedWire;
- SEPA, and others.
In order to keep our cost structure simple, OPAL will not charge any separate fee for this additional cost.
When making a transfer, please ensure that all beneficiary details are provided accurately. If the information provided is not accurate and is deemed a failed transaction, any fees incurred will be borne by the sender.
