Changing your business address or trading name is an easy process with OPAL. Depending on whether you are a sole trader or a company, we may need relevant documents to verify the address before updating our system.
If your business is a Sole Trader or Sole Proprietorship:
- Contact our customer success team with your query along with relevant documents such as a utility bill or a bank statement, which will help the team verify the new business or trading name.
If your business is a Company:
- You need to have the address or trading name updated on ACRA or equivalent before we can make any changes. If your address has not been updated on ACRA or equivalent yet, our customer success team will require your lodgement letter from ACRA or equivalent.
- If you do not have the relevant documents and your address has not been updated on ACRA or equivalent yet, we would not be able to update your address just yet.
- Feel free to come back to us at a later date with an updated address or documents and we will be able to make the change for you.
